Tuck, Tuck, My Awkward Pup

I just happened upon this photo series of my cockapoo Tucker. It's from last year at my old place. We were shooting a feature for Fizz56 and The Everygirl, and our talented photogs, John and Maura Stoffer love him so they kept taking his picture. Isn't he the best? Albeit a bit awkward. I can't believe I've had him for six years now. He's truly my best friend, the most loyal companion. Who gets sad when I leave and ecstatic when I come back. Who lives for a cuddle or a moment of my attention. He sure knows how to make a girl feel special.

    Love this series of photos! Tucker's such a cute pup. I feel the same way about our poodle/lhasa apso mix, Jackson. He's crazy, but such a lover at heart. He's actually on my blog today too...he makes appearances every now and then!

    We (my family) got a cockapoo as our family dog when I was younger. She's now 13 1/2 and the best dog there ever was. Cockapoos are just the best. She's the lovingest, cuddliest puppy ever. At 13.5, people still mistake her for a puppy.

    I can't wait for the day my husband and I can get a dog (our landlord won't let us), but I don't think anyone will ever replace Ellie (who must live at least 10 more years).

    I've had my white fuzzy shichon (shih tsu/bichon) for six years and he makes me smile every day! I even took him to Europe with me when I lived abroad. He loved every second of it and I wouldn't have it any other way.

    Tucker is such a sweetie. That face! Our family dog is Tippy, a corgi mix, and she's pushing 16 and a half years old! Which is especially impressive because she was the runt of the litter and nobody expected her to make it past 10. And then when I was about 13 years old I got puppy fever and begged my mom to let me get another dog. Her name is Lillie, she's a feisty, energetic little rat terrier/blue heeler mix and soon to be 7 years old! Time flies :(

    I have a cockapoo too! His name is Larry and he thinks he is a human. Snores, sits like a person on the couch and always has to have a pillow to rest his head. Dogs are the best and love you no matter what :)
