  1. The striped sweater is so pretty! And I agree, I love J Crews fall style! And really just fall in general, it's the best season of them all.

  6. Sigh. I want to go "back to school" shopping so bad, but buying stuff for my new place is taking precedence over new clothes. Clearly I need a better paying job!

Love the second sweater, and "wham, bam, thank you, ma'am" is one of my all time favorite expressions, so of course I liked the whole roundup!

  7. Further proof that we share a brain. Which one of us will be getting the striped one? ;)

  8. I'm going to say it because no one else will. J Crew has great concepts and genious marketing but I find the quality to be "cheap" and too expensive.

Cheap fabic, poor sewing and over priced. Am I the only one?

  10. Anon, Are you buying the stuff in the regular stores or the factory stores? In my experience, the stuff in the factory stores is crap: cheap fabric and shoddy construction. It doesn't last at all. It really bothers me that they put regular J.Crew tags on that stuff because it's nowhere near the same quality.

The stuff in the regular stores, on the other hand, is much nicer. It doesn't even seem like the same brand to me, honestly. Most of my things from there have lasted just fine *if* I'm really careful with them (delicate cycle in the wash, etc.). I'll completely agree about the prices though--J.Crew is 'spensive!
