Wishing

I wish my living room looked exactly like this. Relaxing and pretty, cluttered yet clean, neutral with whispers of color. It's perfect, and I want to remember this photo always, which is why it gets its own post.

  1. This room looks so peaceful. I'm working right now to balance neutrals and color in my new place in Old Town!

  2. You are so right, this photo deserves it's own spotlight. I LOVE gallery style wall hangings-- layered art and photos framed is my weakness.... Thanks for sharing this! Love it!

  3. Very pretty - the barely-there color is my favorite. And the mixture of leaning and hanging art. If the lamp was marble I too would copy this room piece-for-piece. Did you notice the towering pink candles on the mantle?

  10. love the phrase "whispers of color." my biggest pet peeve is when bloggers use the phrase "pop of color" and highlight something small, like the thin candle on the mantle. A whisper can have just as big an impact - no need to overstate the case

  11. That long low built-in or console or whatever it is is amazing! Yes, this space totally deserved its own post. And is going in my inspiration files.
