Pretty sure the contents on the vintage bar cart would not meet Syracuse dorm code - right along with "no hot plates or toaster ovens." On another note, how insane are the curtains? I think that shocked me more than anything else in the room.
Not only do I love a man with great ties, but I admire Maximilian's unpretentious approach to utilizing cheap finds in his designs. His dresser was $80 at a thrift store.

Yes, the linoleum floor is lined with oriental rugs. All family hand-me-downs. Not too shabby.
Unreal! I love the green wall color. What I have to know though, is how the heck does one get the permission to paint their dorm walls?? That certainly doesn't happen at any colleges I know of.
ReplyDeletethis looks absolutely stunning!
ReplyDeleteHa, WOW! I'll be the first to admit that my dorm room wouldn't hold a candle to this beauty. I know where all the freshmen will be partying this year... ;)
ReplyDeleteomg. this dorm room has more style than my apartment. if he took the time to paint his dorm maybe i should paint the walls here.
ReplyDeleteooh mr fancy pants ;) what a place!
ReplyDeleteThis is the most inspiring dorm room I have ever seen! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteNOT bad at all!!
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw this on EOS, I went to the website and examined everything for an hour. I am FASCINATED by how he made this dorm room so incredible.
ReplyDeleteJust goes to show you what talent can do....
i think the only thing shocking about this room is why a college male would spend so much time decorating a dorm room instead of hanging with guys and drinking crappy keg beer.
ReplyDeleteI didn't even know a dorm room could look like this...unbelievable! i'm so inspired...he did an amazing job with an unbelievably small space.

Saw this on EOS as well and can't get over how fabulous it is! I too was impressed by the curtains and love the layered rugs. It's masculine and so wonderfully eclectic. I did wonder at the bar cart too ;)
