My home on MadeByGirl, blog awards, LCY on Etsy, and the winner of Pottery Barn giveaway!

What a happy day!

First off: Congratulations to Nell Carroll (who I see is a fellow Syracuse University grad!) for winning the Pottery Barn Colebrook quilt! Please email me at alaina.lcy@gmail.com with your address so you can receive your prize ASAP!

I am still in shock that there were over 300 entries to win this beautiful quilt! Thank you to everyone who signed up and began following LCY in the effort. I will try my best not to disappoint! And thanks to Pottery Barn for sharing the contest with your 70,000+ Facebook fans!

In more exciting news, last week I was humbled by the talented Jen Ramos of MadeByGirl when she asked if she could share photos of my home with her blog readers. My answer was a resounding "yes!!" That post went up yesterday evening, and you can see it here!

And if this wasn't just such a happy day already, two fellow blogfriends have recently bestowed these lovely blog awards upon LCY and me. Many, many thanks to Bailey of Peppermint Bliss for the Sunshine Award, and Natalie of Lovely Little Nest for the Happy 101 Award. Natalie also shared a photo of my office with her readers in that same post, so thank you for that, Natalie!

Lastly, I've had quite a few emails and comments asking where to purchase the prints you see in my living room and dining room of the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, and the Colosseum. Well, the good news is I am in the process of setting up an account on Etsy and they will be available for sale in the next day or so. More good news is I have MORE buildings (Sydney Opera House, Empire State Building, and the Sears Tower) AND they come in different colored backgrounds. Stay tuned.

I will return tomorrow with a long overdo fashion post. Over and out.

  3. And in the last photo where do you find those twigs in the vase with yellow buds? Are they real or faux?

I have been on the lookout for ones like these and would love to be able to find them.

    Thanks again!
