I'm completely smitten with all of it!! Adore the white candlesticks (where are they from?), sconces, bar area, grey chairs, bird cage...sigh all of it!!!
This room is so beautiful! You did a great job decorating. I love the grey, white and black palette that you used. And, the green birdcage is adorable. www.SproutThroughConcrete.com
Thank you for sharing such a lovely example of before and after!! I love the way the colors just pop in your home, especially next to the gray:) Can't wait to see what you've created in your kitchen!!
So beautiful! Peaceful! I'm glad you went w/ the black bar tray. I remember you asking for opinions... It,along w/ that fantastic birdcage really pop! You are super talented. Thank you for sharing!!! -Kathy
I have that exact bird cage but it is unpainted and in its original wood state. Did you paint that one yourself or did you buy it that way. I'm looking for bird cage painting tips if you have any!
Love your home! I also chose similar color schemes for 1 bedroom prewar apt. in NYC. Was wondering where you got your living rug from. There have been tons of people asking...and now me! :-) The pattern is awesome! Thanks. Convo me at fivefeet@gmail.com Thx.
My name is Elena Sullivan and I am currently curating a collection of IKEA Expedit hacks and styling tips for Looksisquare(dot)com. I don't know if you're familiar with Looksi but it's a lot like Craft or Dwelling Gawker: they display a thumbnail image from your blog along with a short description and a link. Typically you would submit your own images (like you do on CraftGawker) but they also have curators (like myself) who do theme-based round ups. I would love to include a picture of your Expedit Bar. If you would prefer that I don't include it please let me know. The collection goes up on Friday (10/4). Thanks!! Elena (looksissquare.com & acasarella.net)
