Finally! The big kitchen reveal I teased you all about in February. You can see more before photos of the kitchen (and what it looked like before I moved in) here.
How did you find this gem of an apartment?? Every room is amazing. The kitchen is exactly what I expected it to be - clean, crisp, refreshing, perfectly detailed and beautifully styled!
Hi Alaina! I LOVE looking at pics of your place...as a fellow Chicagoan, I have to admit I'm a little jealous of your cute place!! Can you tell me what color paint you use throughout your place...I love that gray! Thanks and keep up the great work, love your blog!
It's amazing what the white beadboard does for it. Love the after. I'm curious as to what you did with your microwave because I'm looking for tricks for hiding mine?!
LOVE what you've done! Can you share more information about the cafe chairs - are they original Thonet, where did you find them, and were they expensive? Thanks!
Alaina, your kitchen is gorgeous! I also have Thonet Bentwood cafe chairs and always smile when I see them. Also, major props for your the addition of yellow. I may be biased, but it's the best accent color ever.
That's a West Elm rug in front of the stove, yes? Almost bought one myself a while back. Seems like we have similar taste :)
love the pops of yellow! it's so warm and inviting! you must love to cook in it!
