A few of my favorite shots of one of my favorite colors. I have a few teal accents dotted around my home - notably the birdcage - but I'm loving the idea of painting a room this fresh summery color. Maybe my office. Thoughts?
just stumbled upon your blog, and i adore it! love this post! the wedding photo is from my good friend leah's wedding in roseburg, oregon. it was even more beautiful in real life!
I like the idea of using this shade as an accent - maybe just paint the picture rail, skirting board or door frame in this hue and then keep the black. I think they would make a good combo - like mint chocolate.
P.S. Pinning every image - thanks for the inspiration!
Hey Alaina, I love color ideas, but I'm nervous about painting my house. The last owner used high-gloss paint everywhere, ugh. But what's worrisome is that the walls aren't quite even everywhere. Do you have a (cheap) suggestion for how I can make sure the surface is nice and flat before I spend money on paint that still won't look nice?
love this minty shade especially in the last photograph. xoxo jillian:: enter to win a leigh viner print!
ReplyDeleteI think that first picture of the house facade might be the prettiest color combo for an exterior I have ever seen. SO pure.
ReplyDeleteI want to live in that house!
