Halloween Weekend in the Country

I know I talk about it a lot, but I hope you are all beginning to understand my obsession with this season. I mean, of course summer is fun and all, and Christmas is pure magic, but how gorgeous is fall in the Midwest? Every time I think about moving some place warmer, I remind myself how much I'll miss the changing seasons. Pumpkin carving parties and cabin weekends in the country just wouldn't feel the same without the the fiery hued foliage and crisp cool air. One more month of my favorite time of year, although I'm certain the first snowfall will be here within the next couple weeks. Until then, I'll be making the most of the crunchy leaves beneath my feet.

How was everyone else's Halloween weekends?

  2. Oh, those pictures are just gorgeous! I'm totally with you on the changing seasons. Winter arrived a bit early this year in the Northeast, so our Halloween weekend was a white one!

  8. You just can't beat a weekend in the country. I feel the same about living in the UK - the seasons make it so special. I spray painted pumpkins gold this weekend - so fun! Have a lovely week, hun! xo

  9. Your weekend looks fabulous. You definitely would miss the seasons if you moved somewhere that didn't have any. Take it from someone who grew up with no seasons. It isn't fun.
